Sr. Pastor:    James Southard

Pastor James Southard brings over 20 years in ministry to Water Street. Having served as Youth Minister and Associate Pastor at three other churches in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. He came to Water Street as Interim Pastor in April 09 and was called to Pastor in June 09. He received his education at Arlington Baptist College and Criswell College. He has been married to his wife, Angela for 26 years. They have three children, Heather, Holly and James and four grandchildren.

David Poole began serving in the Children's Ministry in 2000. He was called to Water Street Baptist Church in June 2010. He has a passion and a gift for speaking to children and God has placed a burden in his heart for the families of Waxahachie. In addition to leading Sunday Morning Children's Church and our Wednesday Evening Kids Bible Club, David works full time as a Senior Analyst for Beckett Media. He and his wife, Heather, have four children: Tyler, Ashton, Jacob, and Raegan.
